| Definition of Successful Data Recovery |
Recovery results are defined in the following three levels and will be explained before work begins. ✅ Complete Recovery Most or nearly all requested data has been recovered. Standard fees apply. ⚠️ Partial Recovery Some data has been recovered. Fees will be quoted individually according to the content and amount of recovered data. An estimate will also be provided at the quotation stage. ❌ Unrecoverable No data could be recovered. No data recovery fee will be charged (a diagnosis fee may apply only if advanced diagnosis was performed. We will inform you in advance). |

| Application Validity Period | After we notify you that the work is completed, please make payment and collect your device within one week. | ||||||||||

Important
If there is no response or pickup for more than one month after we notify you that the work is completed, Machinecity Inc. will no longer be responsible for storing the device. We will attempt to contact you again before disposal; however, this may not apply if we cannot reach you. |

As this service is the provision of services (repair and data recovery work), the following return policy applies.
Completed Repair ItemOnly when the same symptom recurs due to our work, we will provide free support within the warranty period (30 days from the completion date). Other returns cannot be accepted. Parts / ConsumablesReturns cannot be accepted after installation. Data Recovery MediaIf the delivered storage media is defective, returns or rework will be accepted only if you contact us within 7 days after delivery. Other returns cannot be accepted. |

| Fees for Unsuccessful Data Recovery |
Success-Based Fee
If recovery is not possible, no data recovery fee will be charged. Please pay only the diagnosis fee if advanced diagnosis was performed (we will inform you in advance). |
| Repair Warranty | 30 days from the completion date (limited to the same symptom and same repaired area). If the same symptom recurs within the warranty period, we will handle it by free re-repair.
Not covered by warranty: customer negligence, external damage, repair intervention by a third party, and age-related deterioration of consumable parts |
| Refund Policy | If we determine that repair cannot continue, the applicable repair fee will be refunded according to the quotation terms. For details, please check the Refund Policy page. |
| Cooling-Off | This service is a repair and recovery service requested or brought in by the customer, and is therefore not subject to the cooling-off system under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act. If the request is made through door-to-door sales, cooling-off may apply according to law. |

| Disclaimer | Repair and data recovery work cannot be guaranteed due to the condition of the device. We explain risks before work and begin only after receiving customer consent. We are not responsible for secondary damages that are not caused by our work. |

| Seller Responsibility for Non-Conforming Quality |
If the delivered repaired item or recovered data does not conform to the contract terms (due to our work), we will handle it by free re-repair or rework only within the warranty period (30 days from the completion date). |
